Välkommen på helgkurs med Vladimir Makhalov & Ellinor Westrup!
Vladimir Makhalov
is a Moscow-based tango dancer, teacher, DJ and well-known traveller in Europe. The main aim of his classes
is to make students feel comfortable in their own bodies, to catch their personal and natural way of moving,
dancing and using it. On the one hand. And on the other hand he pays a lot of attention on how to play
with your partner and create a dialog in between. It's all about character of your dance and how you would like to
communicate with people through your dance, make it possible to say something through your movements.
He wants people to dance with a a strong personality and, with an open heart. Vladimir likes to smile and appreciates
a good sense of humor.
Ellinor Westrup
has become a familiar face at many festivals in Europe and is an active teacher of tango throughout Sweden.
She has since 2007 been an integral part of the dynamic tangoschool Tangokompaniet based in Malmö. Ellinor is
constantly working and developing her tango in a very deep fashion. Her dancing is described as classic and dynamic
at the same time.
The body as a means of expression has always interested Ellinor, primarily through dance and the practice of yoga
which has given her a deeper understanging of the body and its patterns of movement. During summer 2010 she took part
of a yoga teacher training in Hamburg. The training gave her 100 hours of yoga philosophy and anatomy of the body
and its movements. Using good pedagogic skills, Ellinor gives her students the requisite freedom
and security to seek and develop their own individual dance.
Helgen är ett samarbete mellan Barra Querida och Buena Madera!
OBS. Det kommer även finnas möjlighet för privatlektioner.
